From Thursday 12th to Thursday 19th April 2012, in occasion of the commemoration of the ancient Roman rites of the Ludi of Ceres, will be held in Rome the great event of Aspettando Cerealia (Waiting Cerealia) .
The event is the anticipation of the second edition of the festival “Cerealia. La Festa dei Cereali. Cerere e il Mediterraneo”, multi-cultural event dedicated to the cereals world to be held from 6th June to 10th June 2012, promoted by M.Th.I., by the offices in Rome and Ariccia of the Italian Archeoclub, and by Nur Editions.
Aspettando Cerealia provides themed menu dinners (strictly at Km 0, in line with the sustainable project of Cerealia) enriched with animations, guided tours and beer tasting. The event will be inaugurated on 12th April by the “Dinner with Apicius”, a Roman menu with action stage at the restaurant Luce44; on 14th and 15th April will be the turn of “Panem et Circenses”, an archaeological tour by Archeoclub of Rome that will unfold between the Valley of the Colosseum, the Capitoline, the Aventine and the Circus Maximus; on Wednesday 18th April the public can enjoy great beer at the literary caffè Aquisgrana, while the 19th April, the final date of the event, will be staged at the the restaurant Osteria delle Commari “Alla romana”, an evening dedicated to the traditional Roman recipes with recitation of verses of Aldo Fabrizi.

Da giovedì 12 a giovedì 19 aprile 2012, in occasione della ricorrenza degli antichi riti romani dei Ludi di Cerere, si svolgeranno a Roma gli imperdibili appuntamenti di Aspettando Cerealia.
L’evento rappresenta l’anticipazione della seconda edizione del festival “Cerealia. La Festa dei Cereali.
Cerere e il Mediterraneo”, manifestazione culturale multi tematica dedicata al mondo dei cereali che si svolgerà dal 6 al 10 giugno 2012, promossa da M.Th.I., dalle sedi di Roma e Ariccia dell’ArcheoClub d’Italia e da Nur Edizioni.
Aspettando Cerealia prevede cene con menù a tema (rigorosamente a Km 0, in linea con il progetto sostenibile di Cerealia) arricchite da animazioni teatrali, visite guidate e degustazioni di birra.
Il 12 Aprile la manifestazione sarà inaugurata da “A cena con Apicio“, menù romano animato da un’azione scenica presso il ristorante Luce44.
Il 14 e 15 Aprile sarà la volta di “Panem et Circenses”, itinerario archeologico a cura dell’ArcheoClub di Roma che si snoderà tra la Valle del Colosseo, il Campidoglio, l’Aventino e il Circo Massimo.
Il 18 Aprile il pubblico potrà degustare ottima birra presso il caffè letterario Aquisgrana.
Il 19 Aprile, data conclusiva dell’evento, presso il ristorante Osteria delle Commari andrà in scena – e nel piatto – “Alla romana”, serata dedicata alla cucina tradizionale romana con recitazione di alcune ricette in versi di Aldo Fabrizi.
